Site appears to be down - also, FTP access would be niceSubmitted by kconnors on Wed, 09/10/2008 - 10:17pm.
I have been trying to access the data on your site for the last 24 hours and have been getting a "site not found" message when clicking on any content area (e.g. NAIP 2007, Landsat TM, etc. from left sidebar). Any news on when the site will be back up? Also, when it is back up, is there any possibility that there will be FTP access for the DOQQs? You are providing a great resource but it can get tedious to have to click on each file individually and use 'save target as' if you are looking at more than a few quads. Thanks for any information you can provide. |

I was able to download the 2gb Maricopa 1-2 but when i try to download Maricopa 2-2 It comes down as a 1 kb file rather than a 4gb.

you could try seamless.usgs.gov, they have 10m NED for all locations and 3m NED for selected areas.

ARIADATA is up again. It looks like the last Windows update broke the
network connection. Nothing that an additional reboot can't fix. ;)
FTP access is a security risk for us and the University is making off campus FTP access more difficult for the same reason.
I would very much like to implement many of our ideas for improving
ARIA data access (OGC & ESRI compliant web services for mosaicked
DOQQs, shopping-cart style downloads, etc.). Sadly, we can only commit
very limited time to ARIA and the next round of improvements will have
to wait.
Meanwhile, please post your ARIA wishes here.
BTW, does anybody know of a free, off-the-shelf-ready, online
file management/download software package (PHP, Java, ASP, or .NET based)?

Online file management not
Online file management not sure if you mean something like an ftp server or another system similar to google docs? Or just setup some databases on some computers and get a script from hotscripts to manage the files and create links to them automatically.
